20th of December: Velaa’s 10th Birthday Cocktail Party and Gala Dinner
Kick off the festive season with a celebration of past, present, and future in honour of Velaa Private Island’s 10th Anniversary. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and speciality cocktails from 7pm to 8pm in the AVI BAR, followed by an exquisitely prepared banquet out on the covered tennis courts, which will be turned into a fabulous ballroom for the event. Dinner will be paired by a live music performance by the incredible 26-piece Ibiza Live Orchestra.
23rd of December: Gingerbread House Opening Ceremony
Experience a winter wonderland in the tropics, where guests are invited to taste an array of delicious gingerbread cookies and spiced mulled wine at the 2023 Gingerbread House Opening Ceremony. Hosted at 4pm in the AVI BAR, the unveiling of the island’s grand 2023 gingerbread house is a wholesome activity the whole family can take part in.
25th of December: Santa’s Arrival
Adding an extra sprinkling of magic for Velaa’s youngest guests, Santa will of course be visiting on Christmas morning, with an abundance of toys and festive cheer. Families can keep an eye on the skies for his exciting arrival, and then head to the AVI BAR between 11am and 12pm to share their Christmas wish list and capture a photo with Santa himself, before he sets off on his epic journey back to the North Pole.
27th of December: Truffle and Caviar Dinner
Held in Aragu Siganture Restaurant – which hosts a number of one-of-a-kind culinary events throughout the year – this special evening of culinary opulence is a foodie’s dream come true. From 7pm to 11pm, expect an extraordinary gastronomic experience where flavours of aromatic truffles and the finest caviar take centre stage in a menu hand-picked by Chef Gaushan De Silva.

31st of December: New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party, Gala Dinner and After Party
Dress to impress and bid farewell to 2023, starting with a sunset cocktail and canapés at AVI BAR, while looking out onto stunning ocean views. The Gala dinner will commence at 9pm with a feast of flavours inspired by cuisines from around the world, plus an excellent selection of wines. The night ends with a star-studded line-up of artists in the ‘Ticket to Fabulous’ show – a magical and theatrical experience, ensuring the island enters the new year with a dazzling night of music and celebration. From awe-inspiring Cirque du Soleil-style performances, to headline act, Soul Brothers – a Pop, Soul & Motown party band who promise an extravaganza of the world’s greatest hits – more than 50 acts will come together for one night only.
